We are NOT having a meeting this July. Instead the Cherokee Nation is sending Dr. Brett Riggs, a Cherokee Anthropologist on August 18th. Stay tuned for potluck details and possible new location due to all the construction downtown.

We would also like to invite you to a Gourd Dance being held by the Southwest Gourd Society at the VA in the Auditorium. It will be from 1p-4p on August 11 and there is a potluck afterwards for all attendees. The Desert Cherokees would like to invite the membership to join us and observe this ceremony.
July:        No general Meeting
Aug 11:   Gourd Dance at VA (1p-4p)
